You can authorize a trusted person to issue order refunds. Just create a new user with "Support Specialist" role from Stripe dashboard. This user has limited permissions.
"Support Specialist" role user cannot access any Stripe account settings or view API keys. They also "cannot" view summarized financial reports, aggregate payment information, inspect payouts from Stripe to your bank account, or view and make changes to Stripe Radar settings.
Here are the steps to create new Stripe user with "Support Specialist" role.
- Login to Stripe Dashboard.
- Navigate to Business Settings -> Team. https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/team
- Create a new user "Support Specialist" role.
You are always in control. If you would like to see all the refunded transactions, simply go to "Payments" and click on "Refunded" tab.
